Sir Joseph Ari was born on the 21st of December, 1960. He is a holder of the West African School Certificate, Diploma in Broadcast Journalism, Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Post Graduate Diploma in Management. He also holds a degree in Law (LL B (Hons.), a Masters Degree in Law LLM, and Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA). His working career spans a period of over two decades,
covering different spheres of disciplines and human endeavour.

Revenue Inspectorate & Compliance
SOURCES OF REVENUE:-
1. Internally Generated Revenue
(a) Statutory Training Contribution of 1% of Annual Payroll from Employers of Labour.
(b) Course Fees.
(c) Other Income.
(a) SIWES Funds
Funds provided by the Federal Government specifically for Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme(SIWES). However, funds are channeled through the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.
(b) CAPITAL: SPECIAL FUND
An amount granted by Federal Government through the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment to support Capital Projects.
UTILIZATION OF INTERNALLY GENERATED REVENUE:
a. Refund of (50%) to employers of Labour as Training Reimbursement in line with the provision of the Act
b. Payment of staff emolument and others running cost.
c. Provision of Direct Training for Skills Training and Acquisition
d. Build and equip new and existing Training Centres nation-wide.
UTILIZATION OF OTHER FUNDS: SIWES
a. Payment of allowances to students of Tertiary Institutions who participate in the Industrial Work Experience Scheme.
b. Payment of Supervisory Allowances to all participating Institutions.
c. Payment of other related overheads except staff emoluments.
UTILIZATION OF OTHER FUNDS: SPECIAL CAPITAL FUNDS:
a. Support for specific projects – equipping of Industrial Skills Training Centres.
